
What is Love? Art Contest
Opens in February 2027
February is Teen Dating Violence Awareness Month (TDVAM), a national effort focused on advocacy and education to prevent dating violence before it starts. In recognition, we host the What is Love? Art Contest!
Submissions are closed for 2026!
Entries can be submitted into five categories:

2D Art – painting, graphite art (pencil drawing), graphic design, or digital

Video, Music, and/or Performance: song, dance, or short film (max. 3 min.)

Spoken and/or Written Word: poem, short story, short essay

Mixed media – pottery, sculpture, graphic design, architecture, or digital

Photography
Cash Prizes
Cash prizes - awarded in the form of a check, VISA gift card, or Zelle payment - will be awarded to the Top 3 entries in each category.

$50 - Second Runner-up

$50 Third Runner-up
Artists may submit more than one piece in the various categories. Music used in any contest submissions must be Royalty-free.
